Dear OCC Neighbor,
We are excited to announce that the city has today approved our traffic control plan, the construction fence will be going up this Thursday and the excavation subs will be mobilizing and starting work this Monday, 2/15/16. In the meantime, the subs who have been conducting the wall stabilization study over the past couple of days will be continuing their work tomorrow afternoon and Thursday.

Event to Celebrate Exceptional Acts of Bravery, Proficiency and Charity
The Durham Police Department (DPD) held its annual Service Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at Durham City Hall (101 City Hall Plaza). The ceremony will feature 40 individual and group recognitions including 15 Community Service Medals; 16 Certificates of Merit; two Police Medals; four Distinguished Service Medals; Civilian of the Year; Officer of the Year; and two Medal of Valor recipients.
